Plant Mode was fun today.
I scored a really great FiberStone cube from Craigslist. It's going to be planted up in a week or so, and place in front of Bacaro. Modernist to the max yo. Speaking of Bacaro, Thad was a total savior today. He was kind enough to pick up a couple plants that I had ordered from a wholesaler in Chicago. I was kinda stuck in terms of not being able to get up this week. He really is the best. THANKS THAD!
Sticking to the downtown Champaign theme, Baub at Ippatsu reached out to me a couple weeks ago regarding getting a couple of nice large Bamboo Palms. His friend Joy wanted them. These were the plants Thad delivered to Champaign for me. Joy was happy with them so I"m happy. Thanks Baub, thanks Joy!
Put a new plant into BLDD. I had been walking by this ragged totally deaded up Croton plant for far too long. So today I walked in and met Laura. She was totally awesome, and into the idea of replacing the ghost of a plant. Now there is a nice happy Mistletoe Fig living in their space. She was nice enough to check out the site, and bought an Otter Cup and a Picture frame.
Nathan and Katie were just over discussing Plant Mode supplying cool succulents and air plants for their upcoming June wedding. ALL OVER THAT! Super excited to be a part of that special day. Nathan is building Geo Planters for their centerpieces, and I will fill those with plants. Should be dope. Speaking of Nathan, he just dropped off 14 concrete planters that he made. We are going to feature them at the next Urban Outfitters/Plant Mode pop up on May 10th. They are cubes, several different sizes. I'm going to plant them up over the next week. They will be available for purchase at Urban Outfitters starting on that Saturday (May 10th...) I highly suggest grabbing one of these Concrete Cube Plant Ups. Here they are empty. I will post more details about that event in the next couple days. But yeah... Everything is coming up Millhouse. If I could just lock down this spot. I'm beyond ready to put this rad shop table that Tad and resurfaced back in September. Ugh...
