This is the first “sample piece” of a line that we will be carrying. The makers want to wait until they make the first batch before adding their name to it, but yo… it was made a stones throw from Plant Mode. This piece will sell for $20 less than what the next batch will go for. Maybe you like it. It’s great for popping your air plants into, and you can also add in a nice potted plant for extra humidity. There is an opening at the top for access. Kinda hard to photograph, but here are some looks.
Liza makes the goods. She is the owner/maker at TerraVerse, check out the insta! We are starting to get some of her super beautiful functional planters in. These are the Small size, more arriving as she creates them.
Happy Friday folks! Welcome to the weekend
Open 12-4 on Sundays! Let’s roll…
Well, it’s been a minute since I have hit this blog. Plant Mode has moved. Today was my first day in my very own space. The new shop is at 75 e. Chester. Basically the SW corner of 1st and Chester. If you have never heard of Chester, it’s one block south of University Ave. Not many steps from the Furniture Lounge space.
I was invited to do a pop up in July 2014 at Furniture Lounge, it was fun. The following December Amanda and Scott invited me to move Plant Mode into their loft space, in what you have known to be Plant Mode. So generous, lots of love to Scott and Amanda, they have been super solid, and a key to my shop being able to make this move. If you happen upon this post, and are new to town, or an old head in town, but have not yet been to Furniture Lounge, go. You should for sure support this independent spot for Mid Century Furniture, fun vintage clothing, records, and all kinds of other goodies. Peep it. And Peep Plant Mode in the new spot. I’m being a bit low key about this, but i’m super excited, and once i’m settled in, we will have a fun relaunch party.
Here’s a picture.
